Almost Finished!

I must admit I am completely bored with my subject.  Kitchen is not done yet.  But we are close.  Very close.

It is exciting and excruciating at the same time!  In the next week, I should have my home back.  No longer will there be legions of men in my house, making loads of noise at all hours of the day.

I will have my bedroom back as a bedroom.

I can move the kitchen items back into the kitchen.

My office will be relocated from the 6 bags of files in the closet, back to my office.

My dogs will be able to live in the whole house and not just our bedroom.  Molly will no longer destroy everything in site just to let me know that she isn't happy to be trapped in a room with scary noises outside.  My house will smell better.

I have been busy waiting.  The best part about this situation?  I have been coaching the heck out of myself!  I have learned so much about thought work.  I am confident in my craft.

Now I am ready to coach the heck out of you.   www.losinggracefully.com  Lets work together.

Brain Buzz

Do you ever have so much going on that you get brain buzz?  For me, I don't have a lot going on physically, but mentally, my brain is doing back flips!  Lately I find that I am busy worrying about everything.  I worry about my husband, my stepchildren, a job, my dog, my mom, my friends....  Phew!  I am exhausted.  In March I went to Miraval Spa and promised to stop worrying so much and to live in the moment.  I did pretty well for the month of March, but slowly my and some of April.  Slowly but surely, my old self has creeped back in.  Ugh!  All this worrying is stressing me out!

The good news is my weight is doing just fine.  I have noticed that I am toned and muscled.  I am strong and though I could lose 10 pounds, I am happy.  Just worried.

So for today, I will try not to worry about every little thing.  I will try to live in the moment.  Hmmm.  Maybe I will try that meditation thing.

Wish me luck!

CHA CHA CHA CHANGES!

Change is good.  At least that is what I keep telling myself.  So many things seem to be happening all at once that my head is spinning.  I keep thinking that I need to step away and take a breath, but there is never any time.  Some changes seem to be for good and others, well, lets just call them learning experiences.

Change is stressful.  How does one handle stress?  Many people eat ice cream and sweets, others drink alcohol, and even others may find comfort in "comfort foods".  A few people may find themselves turning to some sort of pills.  Lately I have not been sleeping well.  I also have injured myself while working out and cannot do a normal workout.  I am frustrated!

I am trying to think of healthy things I can do to alleviate stress.  Exercising is out for the moment as I need to rehab my various injuries.  Reading isn't helping.  I spend so much time worrying about my future.  A friend of mine told me that whatever is going to ahppen, will happen.  She is right.  I can't control what other people do, but I can control what I do.

I need to think of my future and the choices I have available to me.  No more worrying about the things I have no control over.  Concentrate on relaxing when not working and trying to get more sleep.  I am open to any suggestions on how to handle change and stress.  Thoughts?
